Keratin is the BEST and safest way to put in human hair extensions.  ALL fusion type hair extensions use glue.  You can put any fancy name you want on it but in the end, it's still a type of glue being used.

Keratin is a plant based protein glue bond (vegan even!) that is probably the most gentle to use on any hair so far to date.  Other pre-bonded (already dipped in glue) hair generally will be latex and/or silicone based and will need to be taken out by MORE HEAT or chemical bond removers.

Keratin bonds are a "strand by strand" type of extension application that allows all the freedom of movement and behavior you would expect from your own hair but it's a fraction of the price compared to most other hair extension methods.

A hair weft is divided into small strands that are then attached to your own hair with the Keratin glue.

To remove keratin bonds they are simply cracked and broken down.  The bond dissolves into powder which you can easily brush out and allows you to REUSE THE EXTENSION HAIR.  It is not necessary to use oily or chemical bond removers to take out the hair, nor is your own hair cut or pulled out while removing them.

We prefer to use 100% Remi hair.  Remi hair is high quality human hair, sorted "roots-up".  Why use this higher priced hair?  Human hair is made up of scales.  Those scales generally point down from the root.  Remi hair ensures that the hair you are planning to put on your head is applied the same way. Less expensive hair carries the risk of not being sorted this way and the scales odf your hair and the extension hair "hooking"...which in the long run leaves you with a tangled mess.

This method generally takes 3-6 hours to apply and will last approximately 3 months with good care.  It can be cared for like your own hair with some exceptions that can be discussed during a free consultation with Tamara.

Average cost of this fabulous service is $300 which includes  hair.
